His unique visual language is apparent in the abstract inner landscapes which explore that contemplative state which may loosely be described as kind of blue. The works are organic and tactile in the use of paper, cardboard and gauze in the compositions. The title ‘Kind of Blue’ of works references the iconic jazz album recorded in 1959 by Miles Davis.
