Unaiza Ismail is a UAE-based Pakistani visual artist whose work critically engages with societal reactions to social norms and values, often weaving in elements of classical literary texts to deepen her cultural commentary. She earned her BFA from the University of Sharjah in 2013 and her MFA from the National College of Arts, Pakistan, in 2017. Unaiza has participated in major art fairs such as Art Dubai, Sikka Art Fair, and the Sharjah Biennale. She currently serves as a papermaking instructor and printmaking studio officer at the University of Sharjah. Her work has been exhibited in the UAE, Pakistan, Greece, Iran, and the UK.
