About the Artist

Daniela Friebel (b. 1975, Berlin) is a photographer whose work spans across documentary, conceptual and installation art, exploring broader questions of image perception. Alongside a diploma in Fine Arts and a masterclass degree from the Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig, she holds a M.A. in English linguistics and literature. Her work has been widely exhibited both nationally and internationally. Between 2011 and 2014, she was part of the international travelling exhibition “reGeneration2 – Tomorrow’s photographers today”, organized by the Musée de l’Elysée (CH).
