Since 2003, XVA has been a meeting point for the cultural community of Dubai and visitors, contributing to raise the profile of the undiscovered Dubai through a rich cultural program. Located in the historical part of Dubai, the gallery space is a vibrant art space that exhibits a stimulating array of contemporary paintings, sculptures and art installations. XVA has recently merged with Ave Gallery and it is the largest exhibition space in Dubai. With an annual program of exhibitions, film, music, design and objets d’art, XVA is one of the most modern cultural spaces in the Middle East. It also comprises a cafe, a guesthouse and a venue for corporate and private events.

"Fights Against Darkness"

The Fights Against Darkness exhibition is another effort by XVA to instigate cultural dialogue between artists who deliver similar messages through their art. Sri Lankan artist, Jagath Ravindra brings new paintings to XVA expressing himself through bright and contrasting colors, which symbolize his reflections on present discontents and future hope for a better world. Palestinian-Kuwaiti photographer Tarek Al Ghoussein’s “C series” works focuses on visualized ideas of transience.

XVA is revamping its award-winning guesthouse into Dubai's first art hotel

XVA is currently revamping its guesthouse into an art boutique hotel. Located in the historical district of Bastakiya, the Art hotel will combine all the characteristics of an art-furnished boutique hotel with the architectural splendor of a 100-year old house. Designers, artists and fashion gurus have been asked to bring their talents and creativity to the project. Each room is being furnished by designers and artists that have added a new style to the hotel from stylish and contemporary designs of modern Arabia to Bedouin, vintage and kitsch inspirations.
